Litter picking
The bins at Kings Meadow are emptied everyday, but unfortunately we seem to have a serious litter problem at the moment. We are hoping to install more bins, but that probably won’t solve the problem entirely. We arrange litter picking events, but please remember to pick up your own litter.
Let’s talk poo
Kings Meadow isn’t known locally as ‘dog poo park’ for no reason. A very popular space for dog walkers, the field is unfortunately often overrun with dog poo. We’ve recently installed two dog poo bag dispensers – one at each entrance of the park – and will keep them each topped up with free bags, so dog walkers will never be caught short!
If you see the same people failing to pick up their dog’s poo, please do notify idverde – they’ll send in the dog wardens to issue fines to repeat offenders.
